I’ve been in zombie mode for a while now. Not only do I love zombie fiction, but I’ve also been hard at work for months on a zombie nonfiction book.
I could fill a blog for a year with all the stuff I have on the subject. Until now though, I’ve left that side of my brains out of blog world. But it’s time to merge my writing worlds.
To kick off the occasional ZombifiClaytion, I posted myself as a member of the undead the other day and asked for readers to send me their own zombified images.
If you want to see what these folks really look like just click over to their sites which are linked below.

And why not zombify your 5-year-old school picture?
Thanks for all the great pics! Oh yeah, I almost forgot. One warped zombie, extra brains.

What are you eating for lunch today?

We all grew up to be zombies.
But apparently, Leanne started out that way.
(And for the record, I’m eyeballing some brain-jellied doughnuts.)
Brraaaaaaiiiiiinnns…
Great stuff! Thanks for including me. Very fun.
You bet Rob.
Super cool, Clay. Thanks showing off my inner zombie. We will have to dig into your zombified brain some time and see what fun things you know. Brains, er, knowledge is yummy
Dig in!
So glad you are shambling out of the closet as a lover of the undead. And that is awesome that you are writing a nonfiction zombie book! You are going on my short list of people to call when the brains hit the fan.
I definitely want you on my squad. We’ve got some killer peeps already
I saw that program! Very fun~
Did you zombify yourself?
Where is the sign up list for preorder on the zombie book? I have a family to look after so we need to be ready.
Believe me, I can’t wait until I have a preorder link for everyone. Here’s hoping!
And to think I held back and didn’t send my baby picture…
I want to zombify all of my school pictures and give them to mamaClaytion for her birthday.
So clever. And I would like to take a moment to apologize to fellow bloggers who received a WordPress notification from me saying “Click here to see a really great picture.” because I know some of you were scared. And you emailed me. But this is what it was.
Premature button-pushing. It gets me everytime.
So much fun, Clay. And it’s good to know that zombies can be hawt, too.
Zombies can be ditzy too
These are scary great! Gene’s picture made me giggle. Renee’s picture is too hot to be a zombie. Oh, and for lunch I had an eyeball and maggot burrito covered in liquified snot. Okay, so it was pinto beans and ground beef with tomatillo sauce….
Ha, I guess no one else felt like sharing their lunch after all the grody zom pics.
I didn’t send you any pictures but I did run a few through the program. The funny thing is that I also put my old kindergarten school picture through it like Leanne did!
It’s fun right?
